By virtue of Dr. Punjabi’s dual board certifications in both Plastic Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery he is experienced, skilled and uniquely qualified to manage and treat facial trauma. Injuries to the face, by their very nature, impart a high degree of emotional, as well as physical trauma to patients. Maxillofacial surgery treats not only facial trauma but TMJ disorders, sleep apnea, cleft lip & palate, and orthognathic jaw surgery. Oral surgery encompasses injury and disease of the teeth and includes surgery for dental implants, bone grafting, wisdom teeth & impacted canines, and apicoectomy.
